Whether you’re hunting high desert peaks or lush forests of the northwest, the extremely durable, breathable, and comfortable Element Jacket’s 2-way-stretch polyester double weave allows for an excellent fit (being slightly roomier in the shoulders for drawing back as well as the bottom for layering ease) while resisting wind, water and snow.
Designed for the active hunter, the low profile fit offers full range of motion while 10.5 inch core vent zippers deliver amazing climate control. A microfleece lining on the collar and chin guard complement the soft, brushed interior for next-to-skin comfort. This is a great overall jacket. Warm, water repellant, and accurate sizing. I use this coat in late October into November hunting on the Wasatch Front. A technical fit eliminates excess fabric which makes it perfect for bow hunting.
Wore this jacket all through rifle last year and it performed great! Very wind and water resistant. One thing I would have changed... The zippered vents are on the sides of the torso instead of partially going up the arm and armpit like some other vents I have seen. This prohibits the vents from working when wearing a hunter orange vest like I often do. Just one small thing i would change if I could. But overall great product!
I love the Element Jacket. It's perfect for the majority of the season. It keeps you mostly dry unless it just pours. I wear this and the assault shirt, and merino top and I'm good with mornings in low 40's/upper 30's and afternoons in the 50's.
My jacket is now entering its 3rd season and still great.
Used it in the field today
I ordered it a few months ago, but it had been too warm to wear it until today. I have to say, I was impressed. There is no insulation, so you need to layer depending on the weather, but it did stop the wind. It was 43 degrees and probably 10mph wind, and I was happy. The hand pockets kept my hands warm, and I like the zipper cover at the neck that keeps the zipper from touching your neck. I have ordered nearly every piece they have, including the cold gear and almost all of it has been great. The one item that wasn\'t, they took care of and replaced.
Best gear you can ask for!
Love the element series jacket and pants. Quiet and durable. They thought of it all. Warm and.dry. my only complaint is I wish it had a hood option.. zip on style.. just my .02 cents
Best Value in Performance Camo
I purchased the Element Jacket & Pants and I am very impressed with the fabric, fit and innovation. Compared to the other stretch material products designed for high performance hunting, these garments are by far the best value for my dollar. Awesome camo pattern in the Mountain Mimicry is a nice bonus. This outfit will no doubt excel in the midwestern deer woods, as well as the western habitat found on my next elk hunt.
Gotta have it...
I recieved my element pants and jacket this week and have got to say I love 'em! Every little feature makes you think "Oh that was clever!" All the needed accessories with none that aren't needed. I'm a bowhunter and can tell you these things are about as quiet as they come! 95% as quiet as fleece in my opinion.
I am also extremely impressed with the water 'proofness' of these garments. I sprayed all different forms of water on the jacket and it just beads up and rolls off like a champ. I even submerged a seam on the sleeve in a bowl of water for 10 minutes with a paper towel in the sleeve and it came out bone dry. Great gear you got here I look forward to trying it out this fall!!!
