The Merino 1/4 Zip T base layer shirt sets the standard for soft, warm and comfortable. Using 100% New Zealand Merino wool in the 190 gram weight (lightweight) it’s still surprisingly durable. With its natural wicking and odor fighting properties, you’re sure to stay comfortable and odor free all day. Plus the added hem length of the shirt ensures it won’t come untucked throughout your hunt as you bend, climb, stretch and crawl to get that perfect shot. The Element Merino Zip T base layer also features extended length the sleeves as well as a generous 9″ zipper for climate control.

My other Base Layers are getting lonely
Seriously, since I picked up this merino wool from C4E I find myself going to it first every time! The fit is great, it's soft, and seems surprisingly durable through multiple uses and washes so far! I've got nothing bad to say about this stuff and need to get a few more sets! The anti-funk properties are a game-changer for me after using synthetics for so long!
Not just for hunting... get this
I love my merino tops from C4E. The zip is great for mornings when its cold and slightly warm walking out. Just zip it down and you will cool off quickly.
I wear this and the crew top working in my back yard when its cold.
You need this base layer.

Not as soft / itch free as others. Thin and light.
Not sure about the added length, probably good for less than 6' tall.
If you can get it on sale it is a good deal.
Best base layer period!!
This is the best base layer I've ever worn! Wicks moister like it says and doesn't smell after long periods of use like other base layers I've worn, where you smell like you haven't showered in a month! And when you're a bow hunter that's bad business. I will be buying more of this in the near future.!!
Merlino 190 zip
Feels great,beats the old gray wool Itchy scratchy next to the skin. Let you know how the ELK like it next fall. Fore now we are just trapping them and putting on GPS collars.
